Why become a member?

Founded in 1976, Bay Ridge Center has over 1,000 active members and is the largest and most active program serving older adults in southwest Brooklyn.

Our goal is to help older adults age successfully in place.

We have an array of programs, classes, trips, and presentations. Check out our Services, newsletter and calendar of in person and virtual activities to see what we have to offer, or come in and participate!

Bay Ridge Center is handicapped accessible.
Membership is FREE for residents 60+

Stop by one of our centers to fill out the application with a staff member. You may call ahead to make an appointment, (718) 748-0650, or just drop in.

It just takes a few minutes to fill out the application, which includes things like emergency contacts, a list of current medications, and photo identification.
Senior Advisory Council (SAC)
The SAC is made of of center members and meets monthly.
