Dear Friends and Supporters,

At any given moment at the Bay Ridge Center, one can hear the laughter of members teasing one another by the coffee and bagel bar. Underscoring this laughter is the sound of upbeat music and the voice of the strength & fitness instructor guiding her workout group through exercises designed to strengthen their core. The smells of coffee and lunch being prepared fill the air. As one takes a look around, one can begin to imagine how these individuals have made up the Bay Ridge community for decades and how this vitality is the energy of a community that is aging with joy and autonomy.

These moments make a significant difference in the lives of our aging community in Bay Ridge. And we would not be able to continue to offer the services and community space to our seniors without the generosity of folks like you. Your donation this holiday season will go directly to Bay Ridge Center’s services and programs, which are growing in need as the senior population increases in our neighborhood.

Bay Ridge Center’s reach goes far out into the community with freshly prepared, home delivered meal services that feed over 650 of our most vulnerable and at risk neighbors;
7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.

And last month we opened our new storefront location, Bay Ridge Connects, at 7609 Third Avenue to further impact our community by offering expanded programming and services that will engage a wider and more diverse population.

You can donate online                or mail your contribution directly to Bay Ridge Center, 411 Ovington Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11209 or by phone at (718)748-0650 extension 115.

From all of us at Bay Ridge Center and Bay Ridge Connects, warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season and a healthy and bright New Year.
